PP-DB sends its proposals for legislative changes to the parliamentary represented groups

If they do not receive support, they will return to the president the second term unfulfilled

PP-DB has asked the president for 3 months, so that during this time they can be 7 anti-corruption laws were adopted by the deputies.

Today, the coalition will send their proposals for changes to the parliamentary groups and they will expect a response of support. If the PP-DB do not receive it, they will return the president's unfulfilled second term, BNT reported.

President Rumen Radev stated that he will respect the Constitution.

Judicial reform before the government is proposed by PP-DB, this may take 3 months
"Crises require non-standard solutions and that is why we offer a non-standard solution to exit, the failed fight against corruption. We want to propose a package of laws to clean up corrupt persons," said Nikolay Denkov - chairman of the PG of the PP DB.

"Because Article 99 of the Constitution deals only with the procedure for forming a government, not the legislative program of the National Assembly, and in whatever form these important requests are packaged, they invariably lead to the Constitution's requirement for this basic question - is there a majority in the 50th National Assembly? Because you have 39 deputies, and your ideas require a majority, and for some of your ideas a qualified majority," said President Rumen Radev.

After the meeting, it became clear that the PP-DB pledged in the declaration the adoption of 7 important draft laws. They explained that if they find support for them, they will need 3 months for the adoption of the laws, if they do not get support - they immediately return the mandate.

Bozhidar Bojanov: We will accept the second mandate if the legislative program we want is implemented
"We will propose a declaration to the National Assembly as quickly as possible, in which the National Assembly declares its support for 7 main laws or decisions - the law on the judiciary, the election of an anti-corruption commission, the law on whistle-blowing, the law on personal bankruptcy, the law on a new ombudsman, as well as the beginning of a reform in the services by introducing integrity tests", explained Bozhidar Bojanov from PP-DB.

"We support our colleagues from "Democratic Bulgaria" for this declaration, but we are skeptical that there is such a majority. We also learned our lesson, just someone declaring and promising things means nothing. The real test is the actual voting," explained Kiril Petkov.
