Dozens of confiscated cars are blocking parking spaces, sidewalks and green spaces in the metropolitan area “Ilinden”. This is reported by bTV viewers.
Almost the entire street “Indje voivoda“, on which 3 RU of the SDVR is also located, is blocked by confiscated cars of drunk or drugged drivers. In all cases, pre-trial proceedings are conducted.
„I have been constantly writing complaints for two and a half years. However, since yesterday, cars are already parked on the green areas”, explained Neika Krasteva, who submitted the report to bTV.
What saddened her the most was the fact that for the third time they won a project under the “Green Sofia” program, but it is about to fail.
„According to the project, we had to make a hedge to protect the areas, but this is no longer possible. Yesterday we saw that five cars were parked on the grass, Neika Krasteva also said.
She also complained that the dozens of parked cars also obstruct the passage on the sidewalks. Pedestrians were moving along the street, which creates a danger both for them and for drivers.
„There is the remains of a wagon that has been sitting here for over 10 years. They explained that it was evidence in a case of wood theft. A horse was also tied to the cart, but after we filed a complaint with the 3 RU, the police moved it somewhere”, Neika Krasteva also told.
