They detained the woman who ran the illegal hospice in Bankya, in which a person died in yesterday's fire, the Ministry of the Interior confirmed, informs BNT.
Three people were injured in the fire. Relatives of those housed in the home must today provide more clarity on how their loved ones ended up in the hospice, which turned out to be operating without a license, and at what cost.
In June, the Agency for the Quality of Social Services carried out an inspection with the assistance of the SDVR. It was then established that 11 people with health problems resided in the home. The Agency has sent a signal to all competent authorities, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor's Office, about the illegal activity of the site, which is not a social service in the sense of the law.
