An earthquake with a magnitude of 2.2 was registered 7.9 km northwest of the town of Zlatitsa, Sofia region and 59 km from the city of Sofia.
This is according to data from the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
The earthquake was registered around noon and is 13.5 km deep.
