According to data from the National Seismological Center at the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography - BAS, the earthquake occurred on April 2, 2025 at 9:05 p.m.
Its epicenter is 30 km from the city of Sandanski and 140 km from the city of Sofia.
