When a party chairman goes to his opponent, whom he has spoken of as using a degrading model, this practically means that the entire group has gone to Mr. Peevski. This was said on the air of “Good Morning, Europe“ on Euronews Bulgaria by the former Deputy Minister of Defense and chairman of the “Freedom and Dignity“ party Orhan Ismailov.
According to him, with his actions, Dzhevdet Chakarov helped Delyan Peevski become the sole chairman of the MRF.
This process matured because Peevski was very successful in taking advantage of the vulnerabilities and dependencies in the party and there will be more people who will follow this path. According to Ismailov, Dzhevdet Chakarov only stood in front of Delyan Peevski, but in fact he was part of the people who were patronized by him in one way or another.
According to political scientist Hristo Panchugov, processes of “corporate division“ are underway in the MRF.
“So far, the question has been which of the two corporations will prevail. "We must say, however, that the fact that Delyan Peevski is the only one holding a signature in the MRF does not automatically mean that the process is over. The question is how much power the other corporation has left. Besides being a corporation, however, the MRF has always been a very strong identity," Panchugov also pointed out.
