The first reactions after the historic "Yes" for Bulgaria were very stormy and came from "Vazrazhdane". They moved their protest from outside, in front of the parliament, inside, in a hall. They occupied the rostrum and declared that they would not let anyone reach it. They threatened that this would continue in the coming days and called on the MPs to go to the protesters outside.

The leader of "Vazrazhdane" Kostadin Kostadinov took to the rostrum during the debates on the second reading of the Law on Measures Against the Financing of Terrorism. "Today is a black day for Bulgaria, the Janissaries are burying our country", he pointed out.

The Speaker of the National Assembly Natalia Kiselova imposed a "reprimand" on him for disrupting the order in the hall and blocking the work of the parliament. "The bill is important and your behavior, to put it mildly, is in violation of the rules", commented Kiselova.

"You violated the Constitution, so let's not talk about violating the rules", replied Kostadinov.

Shortly after, high tension arose after an exchange of remarks and shouts in the hall between Tsoncho Ganev from "Vazrazhdane" and Yavor Bozhankov from PP-DB. Ganev approached Bozhankov and pushed him away. The other deputies immediately shook them off and no more serious consequences resulted.

Kiselova imposed the same punishment on Tsoncho Ganev, who got into an argument with his colleague from the PP-DB.

Although the deputies from "Vazrazhdane" remained around the rostrum, the parliament moved on to voting on the amendments to the Law on Measures against the Financing of Terrorism.

This ended the session for the day.
