Currently, there is no control over attraction facilities in our country because there is a regulatory gap. This was stated by the Chairman of the Tourism Committee in the National Assembly and MP from the BSP-UNITED LEFT, Dr. Tesislav Taskov, to Radio Varna.
He gave an example with a 2013 ordinance on the conditions and procedures for safety and technical requirements for facilities in amusement facilities. “It is clear to all of us that the "Maritime Administration" to the Ministry of Transport also controls the serviceability of the boat, jet ski or other means of transport, but in reality there is no clear control over the ropes, trampolines and inflatable facilities”, emphasized Dr. Taskov.
According to him, by the end of the summer, normative texts will be submitted to the National Assembly to regulate this process. “The state should proceed to control the activities of tourist attractions. This means clear rules and high safety criteria”, explained the MP.
