The water supply in Pleven and seven other settlements in the region, which are currently on standby, will be restored tonight from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This was reported by “Water Supply and Sewerage“ EOOD (ViK) in Pleven.
They added that the water supply system of the Pleven region is receiving insufficient water quantities from the Cherni Osam main water supply and from local water sources.
In this regard, the water supply for Pleven, Dolna Mitropolia, Trastenik, Bivolare, Bukovlak, Opanets, Pobeda and Yasen will be restored from 19:00 to 22:00. In order to accumulate water quantities and fill the tanks for the next day, it is necessary to suspend water supply from 22:00 to 07:00.
On Sunday, water for consumers from the indicated settlements will be supplied from 07:00 to 10:00.
To the other seven settlements, which are supplied with drinking water mainly by the Water Supply Group “Cherni Osam“ – Brestovets, Bohot, Kashin, Laskar, Nikolaevo, Ralevo and Todorovo, water will be supplied from 20:00 to 23:00 tonight.
The Water Supply and Sewerage Company – Pleven also informs that as a result of last night's storm, The power supply to the Water and Sewerage facilities was interrupted, which led to the suspension of water supply in the village of Nikolaevo, "Goremlaka" neighborhood.
In order to collect water quantities in the tanks, the water supply to the seven villages has to be stopped from 23:00 to 07:00. On Sunday, their water supply will be restored from 07:00 to 10:00, according to the Water and Sewerage Company - Pleven.
The supplied water reaches the consumers in the individual settlements according to the technical capabilities of the water supply system and infrastructure.
The company adds that they will inform about any change in the water supply of Pleven and the region, since the situation is dynamic and constantly changing.
According to the decisions taken by the Regional Headquarters convened yesterday in Pleven for the implementation of the disaster protection plan from Monday “Water Supply and Sewage“ EOOD - Pleven and the Municipality, with the assistance of the “Basin Directorate“, must begin to identify places where new water wells should be drilled as a matter of urgency.
