For 5 years now the pop star has been a total sober enjoying life again. Today, the performer lives a healthy life, plays sports and is in perfect physical shape. The event that shook Miro was the death of the famous actor Laskin, who died after serious problems with alcohol. Then Miró is on a heavy drinking streak and doesn't sober up for days.
"We were born on the same date as Ivan - on March 10," says the performer of "Galabo". - I was very, very drunk last night. In the morning I got up, looked at my phone and realized that Ivan had died. I left my phone and said to myself: Dude, you have two options - you live or you die. Choose life!“.
With a lot of will, Miro managed to get rid of his demons. Somewhere around then, he also started to play sports actively, fitness became his obsession and today the performer is proud of a perfectly sculpted muscular body.
"This is the best physical shape I've ever been in," says the star. "When we started all I wanted was to feel better about my body... Well, our goals have changed and we are achieving more. We are looking forward and upward! The sky is the limit... I used to hide fat pounds."
One of the most important things in Miro's life was faith in God. The performer claims that it is God who helps him and his family in the most difficult moments. The star became a believer after a dramatic moment in his childhood. Ever since I was little
Miró started drinking beer and at the age of 14 had an unpleasant accident.
"In search of beer, I found a bottle," says the musician. - I opened it and drank it, and it turns out that there is a completely different substance in it, which burns the internal organs. I was able to leave this world, and the emergency room doctors gave my mother no hope at all, whereupon she, as an atheist, began to say: "If there is a God, save my child, I give you his first-born son”. The moment I survived, it was like my DNA was rewritten to be different.“
According to Miro, it was God who saved his father, who managed to overcome cancer. In turn, his mother managed to recover from a stroke.
"Father was an atheist, he accepted Christ as his personal savior. And here he is alive and well after so many years."
Today, Miroslav Kostadinov, as is his real name, prays every morning. "Each of us builds our own relationship with God. It's a love affair," says the performer.
The 48-year-old singer reveals that he is struggling with some health problems. A few days ago he found out that he has an autoimmune disease. He was rumored to have thyroid problems that were affecting his eyes and the performer hardly took off his sunglasses.
"I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease quite by accident. Along with him, I had to deal with the creation of my new album. It was a sad period that made me depressed. I don't want to talk about it”, Miro said on bTV, quoted by plovdiv24.bg.
