Drama off South Africa: A man-eating shark devoured a dolphin, but it was swallowed by a killer whale VIDEO

A marine biologist found its corpse on a beach

In South Africa, a white shark swallowed a dolphin before being eaten by a killer whale, writes The Sun.

Marine biologist Alison Towner discovered the carcass of a great white shark, also known as a man-eating shark, on a beach in South Africa's Eastern Cape and shared photos on social media.

Inside the predatory fish, which reaches a length of up to four and a half meters, she found undigested pieces of dolphin. Towner found that the shark ate the prey in four bites shortly before it became someone's lunch.

The woman noticed specific teeth marks on the carcass of the great white shark and determined that it had been eaten by a killer whale. This is the first recorded killer whale attack on a man-eating shark in the Eastern Cape.

Towner emphasizes that killer whales kill their victims quickly and brutally. She recalled the Starboard orca that ate a great white shark in less than two minutes.
