A policeman went hunting with two friends and slaughtered them

Major Ruslan Sabirov from the Russian city of Ryazan stabbed the hunters 40 times

In Ryazan, the court sentenced a local resident to 18 years in prison for killing two friends while hunting. This was reported by Lenta.ru, citing the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the Ryazan Region.

According to the publication, the convicted person is former police officer Major Ruslan Sabirov. He was found guilty under Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Sabirov will serve his sentence in a colony with a strict regime with full restriction of freedom for a period of one year.

The crime was committed in April 2022. Then the three men arrived to hunt on the territory of a hunting field located in the Klepikovsky district of the region. There they set up camp, pitched tents, started cooking food and drinking alcohol. At some point, a quarrel arose between them and the defendant attacked his two friends and stabbed them more than 40 times, after which he fled.

The victims did not survive.
