The suspect in the plot to attack a Taylor Swift concert in Vienna wanted to buy a fuse

This was revealed to the police by his friend, who was questioned by the investigators as a witness

The suspect in the plot to detonate a bomb at one of Taylor Swift's concerts in the Austrian capital Vienna earlier this month, he asked where he could buy a wick, a friend of his, who was questioned by investigators as a witness, revealed to the police, the Austrian news agency APA reported, quoted by DPA and BTA.

When the friend, who is 15, asked the 19-year-old suspect what he planned to do with the fuse, the latter replied: "We'll see.”. The research on the purchase of the wick was made a few days before the concerts of the American world music star in Vienna as part of her European tour "Eras", scheduled from August 8 to 10.

The 15-year-old reportedly told police he didn't think the suspect could carry out a terrorist attack. The suspect remains in custody.

A second suspect, aged 17, provided moral support to the 19-year-old, DPA recalls. He also remains in custody.
