The 77-year-old pop veteran has spent most of her life working in the music industry and built a hugely successful career. However, the singer is adamant that she is not a fan of her distinctive vocals, despite having sold more than 100 million records over the years.
She told Paper magazine: "My voice is weird. I don't sound like a man, I don't sound like a woman. I'm somewhere in the middle. I have this weird style".
„I never liked him. People seem to like it and I'm very happy, but I wouldn't choose it. My mom loved it, but her voice is softer. Mine is sharper, different, but I don't think I would choose hers,”, explains the singer, quoted by Focus.
