Zoo in Myanmar twin elephants were born, NOVA reported.
The phenomenon is extremely rare, say veterinarians at the Elephant Sanctuary, located 75 kilometers northeast of the city of Yangon.
The babies are male and female and were born on August 26. They already have names – Pearl Sint and Kyaw Pearl.
Because their mother – The 21-year-old female elephant Pearl Sanda does not have enough breast milk for both cubs, and they are fed by their keepers with a pacifier, according to the management of the Elephant Sanctuary. And they add that both babies are healthy and alive.
