Jimmy Butler III cut the home team's lead, and Curry was fouled with 6.4 seconds left in the game, making both free throws. The home team failed to score in the remaining time and Golden State players rejoiced. Wembanyama finished with 26 points and 12 rebounds for San Antonio.

Landry Shamet scored 36 points – career-high, and Josh Hart had a triple-double of 12 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
