Ivet Goranova does not hide that she is disappointed with her performance at the World Karate Championship in Cairo (Egypt), BTA reports. "I lost . . . I waited for this World Championship for two years. I entered it with hope, with hard work and with a desire to show myself. That is why this result hurts me", she wrote on her Instagram profile.
"The truth is that the last few months have been a test. The changes in my team, the lack of clarity and stability in the preparation and the difficult work process have taken me out of the balance that I need to be myself on the tatami. I did not feel good either during the preparation or during the competition itself. But this is no excuse - I know that I can do much more. This is not the real me . . .", added Goranova.
"I thank from the bottom of my heart my sponsors, the people who support me unconditionally, and everyone who believes in me, even when the results don't show it. Your support is strength and hope for me! This time I fell, but I won't stay down. I will get my form, confidence, and myself back!", concluded the national team player.
