Zografski finished 11th at the Ski Jumping World Cup in Wisla

The Bulgarian demonstrated excellent form

Vladimir Zografski finished 11th in the sixth round of the Ski Jumping World Cup in Wisla, BTA reports. Thus, he remained close to the top ten in the standings. Zografski is showing excellent form and climbed to 11th place in the standings with fourth place in the competition on the large hill in Ruka, after which he made a fantastic jump in the qualification in Wisla. The Bulgarian recorded a fourth result with 128 meters and 132.6 points.

Zografski continued his excellent series in the first jump, in which he jumped 127 meters for 131.1 points, while the leader after the round was the Slovenian Domen Prevc with 136 meters for 140.6 points. His compatriot Ange Lanishek, winner of the last two rounds and leader in the overall standings, was one place ahead of the Bulgarian with 129.5 meters for 133.9 points.

Zografski's second jump was not as good, but he was still among the leaders in the final group of 30 jumpers. The Bulgarian recorded 122 meters and collected a total of 256.1 points, which ultimately ranked him in 11th place and 30.1 points behind the winner Prevc. He won with 286.2 points, while German Philipp Raimund reached the third podium of his career with a deficit of 6.8. points. Far behind them in third place was Japan's Ryoyu Kobayashi, who was 26.2 points behind.

With this result, Zografski remained in 11th place in the overall World Cup standings, as Manuel Fetner from Austria, who was equal to him in points, finished in 22nd place.
