Liverpool manager Arne Slott has hinted it would be unwise to approve the sale of Andrew Robertson as they still "need" the left-back, Gong.bg reports.
Robertson is in transfer talks with Tottenham but the Reds are facing an injury crisis. That's why Arne Slott is determined not to lose any more players.
Robertson started as a substitute in Liverpool's 3-2 defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday night. He was brought on at half-time in place of Milos Kerkes, with Slott admitting that the former Cherries left-back he wasn't fit enough to play more than an hour.
"I think I need all my players. Robo should have come on at half-time, I think. I always knew that for Milos another 90 minutes against a very intense Bournemouth team was not an option for him, so I knew I had to bring Robertson on. I had already made one substitution in the first half, so there were only two options left, so I thought: "Let me bring Robo on at half-time to make sure Milos is available for the rest of the season." There are a lot of games to come. The last thing we need right now is another injury," Slott said.
