The Bulgarian team won the team competition among the girls at the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup, which is being held for the first time in Burgas. Magdalena Valkova, Antoaneta Tsankova and Anastasia Kaleva collected a total of 103.248 points, which guaranteed them first place in the competition, BTA reports.
The silver medal was won by the team of Israel with 97.897, and the bronze medal was earned by Hungary with 94.730 points.

Magdalena Valkova started the competition excellently with her performance with ribbon, for which she received the highest score on this apparatus, 25.866 points (difficulty 10.300, execution 7.933, artistry 7.633). With the hoop, Violeta Gospodarska's competitor again played cleanly and with 27.066 points (difficulty 11.400, execution 7.900, artistry 7.766), the first result on the apparatus, confirmed Bulgaria's title in the team ranking.

Antoaneta Tsankova was voted the vote of confidence to play with the ball. Nikolay Boev's competitor made a mistake, but the score of 23.483 points (difficulty 8.800, execution 7.400, artistry 7.633, penalty 0.350), which is third in the ranking, did not affect the ranking of the Bulgarian team.

Last on the carpet was Anastasia Kaleva. Filipa Filipova's competitor was impeccable in the performance of the combination with clubs, set to the song “Speed” and was deservedly awarded the highest score of 26.833 points (difficulty 10.900, execution 8.033, artistry 7.900).

So in the finals on Sunday, Bulgaria will have four finalists: Magdalena Valkova in hoop and ribbon, Antoaneta Tsankova in ball and Anastasia Kaleva in clubs.
