NSA with 20th title in women's football

The team will participate in the first qualifying round of the Women's Champions League in the summer

The NSA team is the new champion of Bulgaria in women's football, after two rounds before the end of the championship it has 9 points ahead of the pursuer Sportika (Blagoevgrad), reports BTA.

The girls of coach Valentina Gospodinova crushed the second-to-last team of Enko (Plovdiv) with 18:0 and demonstrated their superiority in the championship once again. With their success today, the girls from the Sports Academy collected 57 points, having scored 132 goals. The team full of national players is led by the top scorer of the championship Polina Rasina, as well as by defender Yanitsa Ivanova, who is also a starter in the country's first team. The NSA team has suffered one defeat throughout the season so far - 0:2 in a visit to Lokomotiv (Stara Zagora) on April 12.

So, from the summer, the NSA team will participate in the first qualifying round of the Women's Champions League and will try to overcome this stage.

Sportika (Blagoevgrad) will most likely remain second - 46 points, and Loko (Stara Zagora) will be third - 40 points.

The Bulgarian Women's Football Championship is held in one division with the participation of 12 teams. NSA won the title last year in a much more contested battle with Lokomotiv (Stara Zagora).
