The Italian elite football club Udinese is close to attracting Bulgarian youth international Nikolay Popov from Ludogorets, local media write, quoted by BTA.
According to the publication "TutoMercatoWeb" The Udine team has already agreed a transfer for the 15-year-old attacking midfielder, who helped the Razgrad team win the Bulgarian U-16 championship title and was recently named the country's best player in this age group for the 2024/2025 season.
Popov was part of the Bulgarian U-17 national team, which played two friendly matches against Albania last week, winning the first 2-0 on June 5 and ending the second 0-0 on June 8.
