The draw has assigned Grigor Dimitrov to face Gael Monfils at the men's tennis tournament at "Queen's Club", which will have a prize fund of 2.522 million euros, BTA reports. Grisho is not seeded because he is ranked 19th in the world, while Monfils is ranked 42nd.
Dimitrov and Monfils have met eight times, with the Frenchman having a one-win advantage (4-3) in head-to-head matches. The Bulgarian, however, won the last two meetings - 7:6(4), 4:6, 7:6(2) at Indian Wells this year and 6:3, 6:4, 6:3 last season at "Wimbledon".
This season, Dimitrov is in the schedule of the number 1 seed Carlos Alcaraz, but he could meet the Spaniard at the earliest in the semifinals. If successful against Monfils, the Bulgarian will face the winner of the match between the number 4 seed Holger Rune and Matteo Arnaldi.
