Bulgarian National Boxing Champions Yasen Radev and Rami Kiwan fought for medals at the Boxing World Cup in Astana, BNR reported.
They won their quarterfinal matches conclusively.
Yasen Radev outclassed Brazilian Douglas da Silva and won by unanimous decision (5:0) in a quarterfinal clash in the 55 kg category.
In the next round, the graduate of “Levski Sofia” will box with the Kazakh Mahmud Shabirkhan.
Rami Kiwan recorded a second success in the category up to 75 kilograms.
He prevailed over the Finn Benjamin Eriksson and won the fight by unanimous decision (5:0).
