CSKA takes the national team Simeon Petrov in place of the expelled Cooper

Yesterday the 25-year-old defender terminated his contract with the Hungarian Fehervar

Former CSKA 1948 player Simeon Petrov will almost certainly continue his career in CSKA, writes Sportal.bg.

Yesterday the 25-year-old Bulgarian national team terminated his contract with the Hungarian Fehervar and is now a free agent.

The curious thing is that only a month ago the Hungarians bought his rights from the Polish Slask (Wroclaw).

CSKA parted ways with their captain Liam Cooper yesterday, and it is not excluded that Lumbard Delova and Brian Cordoba will leave. For this reason, a central defender needs to be attracted and one of the main goals of the “reds” is Petrov.

If the transfer becomes a fact, the 192-centimeter defender will reunite with his former teammate from CSKA 1948 - Teodor Ivanov, who was bought this summer by CSKA for around 500,000 euros.
