A Russian reconnaissance drone has crashed in northwestern Turkey, the Turkish Interior Ministry announced, quoted by the BBC, BTA reports.

As the Turkish Interior Ministry reported online, it believes it is a Russian-made "Orlan-10" drone.

According to media reports, the drone crashed in a rural area of the Kocaeli province, east of Istanbul. The distance from this province to the nearest points on Ukrainian territory, including the Crimean coast, is over 450 km.
