A Russian reconnaissance drone has crashed in northwestern Turkey, the Turkish Interior Ministry announced, quoted by the BBC, BTA reports.
As the Turkish Interior Ministry reported online, it believes it is a Russian-made "Orlan-10" drone.
According to media reports, the drone crashed in a rural area of the Kocaeli province, east of Istanbul. The distance from this province to the nearest points on Ukrainian territory, including the Crimean coast, is over 450 km.
On Monday, a Turkish fighter jet shot down a drone over the Black Sea that was said to have lost control and was approaching Turkish airspace.
