US Permanent Representative to NATO Ambassador Matthew Whitaker said he expects more pledges to be made under the "Ukraine Priority Needs List" initiative. (PURL) to deliver US weapons to Kiev when the alliance's defense ministers meet in Brussels on Thursday, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
Ambassador Whitaker also told reporters during an online briefing that allies have so far committed to purchasing more than $4.5 billion worth of US weapons to meet Ukraine's urgent battlefield needs through this initiative.
Twenty-one NATO allies and two partners have pledged support, the US permanent representative to the alliance said.
