A fire broke out at the “Afipsky“ oil refinery in the Seversky district of the Krasnodar Territory due to falling debris from a drone, the press service of the regional task force reported.
According to preliminary information, there were no casualties, but technical installations caught fire. In addition, according to the task force, three people were injured in a drone attack on the “Kavkaz” port in Temryuk. A technical vessel was also damaged, and a localized fire broke out in the mooring complex, which was extinguished.
Earlier, the mayor of Novorossiysk Andrey Kravchenko reported that a drone attack had been repelled in the city. The head of the Seversky district, Alexey Cheverev, said that air defense systems were operational.
A series of explosions were heard in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported on Telegram.
“Air defense forces are active. Stay in cover!“, he wrote.
At 4:07 a.m. Moscow time, the Kyiv city administration issued an air alert for the city.
