Germany will deliver three more HIMARS mobile rocket systems to Ukraine, Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced , who is visiting Washington, BNR reported.
The three systems are available in the reserve of the US Armed Forces and will be paid for by Berlin, Pistorius said after being received at the Pentagon by US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.
The edition "Ukrainska Pravda" recalls that the first HIMARS installations were provided to Kyiv by the United States in the summer of 2022. So far, 40 have been received. The missiles are precision-guided and have a range of 80 kilometers and strike targets deep in the rear of Russian forces.
