An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 was registered 66 km southeast of Petropavlovsk -Kamchatsky. This is reported on the website of the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
„Residents of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Vilyuchinsk felt tremors with a force of up to 4 points”, the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a message. According to published data, the epicenter of the earthquake was 66 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky at a depth of 47 km.
