The military spokesman for Yemen's Houthis, Yahya Sari, said in a televised address that the Iran-linked group had shot down a US MQ-9 drone over Al Bayda province in southern Yemen, Reuters and BTA reported.
Sari said the drone was shot down by a locally made surface-to-air missile and that videos would be released to support his claim.
Last Friday, the Houthis said they shot down another drone "Em Q9" over the province of Marib in the southeastern part of the country.
