Former US Permanent Representative to the UN Nikki Haley announced that the US presidential candidate from the Republican Donald Trump's party can count on her vote in the upcoming elections in November, DPA reported, quoted by BTA.
At an event in Washington yesterday, Haley said she didn't always agree with Trump politically: "But Biden was a disaster, so I'm going to vote for Trump.
The former US permanent representative to the UN withdrew in March from the race for the Republican nomination for the presidential election in November and initially refused to support Trump's candidacy.
Haley said Trump should not assume he has the support of her constituents, regardless of her personal decision.
"Trump would be wise to reach out to the millions of people who voted for me and continue to support me, not to assume that they will simply be with him,", Haley warned yesterday.
In the US elections on November 5, there will be a rematch between Trump and Biden, who will run for president again without real competition in his party.
