A tornado in the northern part of the US state of Texas killed at least 13 people and injured dozens, reports the local television Fox 4, NOVA reported.
The area of "mobile homes" suffered the most. - caravans and light housing in the town of Valley View. "At least seven people have been killed, including two children, and dozens injured, after a tornado struck Cook and Denton counties. The authorities fear that their number may increase," the television reported. Among the dead are two children aged 2 and 5.
The tornado completely destroyed a gas station where about 60-80 drivers were hiding. The local sheriff specified that there are probably no victims among them.
