Participants in the Ukraine summit do not want a war with Russia and strive to establish a lasting peace. French President Emmanuel Macron made this statement during his speech at the conference in Switzerland, reports RIA Novosti.
He pointed out that no one is "at war against Russia". “We all strive for lasting peace based on international law,” said the French leader.
Earlier, French MEP Thierry Mariani called the summit on Ukraine in Switzerland without the participation of Russia a farce and a missed opportunity to achieve peace. A conference where not all countries are present is just a PR stunt, he said.
„Even in the French media this is considered propaganda. If we want peace, we must invite everyone”, he stressed.
