An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 on the Richter scale was registered in Northeast Italy at 12:21 local time (1:21 p.m. Bulgarian time), according to a report on the official website of the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), cited by Focus.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 86 kilometers northwest of the city of Trieste and 14 kilometers northeast of Gemona del Friuli. Its depth was nine kilometers.
There are no reports of damage or casualties.
