Flooding caused by heavy rains in Pakistan caused damage that killed at least 30 people this week, Reuters reported, citing a statement from the country's authorities, quoted by BTA .
The agency noted that Pakistan's second-largest city, Lahore, was hit by the heaviest rainfall in more than four decades.
The onset of the monsoon season has caused floods and landslides across South Asia in the past week, with at least 195 people dead and around 200 still missing in one of the disasters in neighboring India.
Heavy rains in northern Pakistan have caused flooding, collapsed buildings and increased the risk of electrocution.
