Non-Mexican Migrants in Southern Mexico, can use the mobile application "CBP One" (CBP One) at the Border Patrol starting August 23 to schedule an asylum application appointment at US land border crossings.
This was announced yesterday in a statement by the US Customs and Border Protection Service, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
While migrants in Mexico can now request and schedule an appointment only from northern and central Mexico, this change will allow them to do so from the southern Mexican states of Chiapas and Tabasco.
