Ukraine repels massive attack: 12 Russian kamikaze drones shot down this morning

The drones were shot down over Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Sumy regions.

Early this morning, Ukraine shot down 12 kamikaze drones launched by Russia, reports "Ukrinform", quoted by News.bg.

The enemy attacked Ukraine with an "Iskander-M" ballistic missile launched from the temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as with 18 unmanned aerial vehicles of the "Shakhed-131/136" type. from the region of Primorsk-Akhtarsk and Kursk, reported Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Mykola Oleschuk in "Telegram".

As a result of air defense efforts involving aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets and mobile fire groups, 12 kamikaze drones were shot down and another four disappeared from radar.

The drones were shot down over Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Sumy regions.

Late night on August 29, an air alert was declared in several Ukrainian regions after Russian drones were spotted in the country's airspace.
