Security forces launched an operation in the Shukru Keller area after receiving specific intelligence inputs about the presence of armed militants. During the search, the terrorists opened fire on the Indian forces, which led to an armed encounter.
Three terrorists were eliminated in the encounter, the agency's sources confirmed. The operation is continuing to determine the possible presence of other militants in the area.
