North Korean leader Kim Jong-un visited the air regiment of the 1st Guards Air Force Division of the Korean People's Army, where he led combat exercises of air force squadrons, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported.
It is noted that during the exercises, the skills of aviation squadrons, anti-aircraft missile units, radar and electronic warfare units in performing air defense tasks were honed. Also, tracking and destroying cruise missiles and kamikaze attack drones, as well as neutralizing and destroying attack drones using electronic means.
During the exercises, tests of a new long-range and planning guided bomb were conducted.
According to KCNA, the DPRK leader emphasized that “all military units must make a radical change in their war preparations, constantly being ready to enter the war“.
