Europe must prepare for the day when Russia and Ukraine agree on a ceasefire, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said at a press conference in Rome.
“And even if a ceasefire is not in sight right now, we must think not only about today, but also about the first day after that happens,“ he said.
According to Pistorius, Germany proposes to take a leading role in the "coalition of the willing" by continuing to support Ukraine in its reconstruction after the start of the ceasefire.
