The telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump shows that the Russian leader is not a militarist, as he is presented in the West and Ukraine, but is committed to a peaceful resolution of the conflict, said Russian military expert Andrey Marochko.
“This shows the determination of the President of the Russian Federation and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to complete the special military operation as soon as possible through peaceful negotiations, and not by conducting military actions,“ he said.
Marochko noted that the negotiations between the leaders of the United States and Russia show that world politicians are actively discussing the surrender of Ukraine. “Currently, those moments and aspects are being discussed when Ukraine can still emerge from this conflict with a good face, because a huge amount of time was lost. In addition, a huge number of lives of Ukrainian citizens were ruined,“ he said.
