The territories of Belgorod and Kursk Regions are fully under the control of the Russian Armed Forces; counterattacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been unsuccessful, said Deputy Chief of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces, Commander of the Akhmat Special Forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Apti Alaudinov.
„The situation in the Kursk and Belgorod Regions is under control. The enemy has been trying to seize at least some bridgehead for itself for a long time. He sent enough equipment and manpower to both regions“, he said.
“Of all these so-called counteroffensives, not one was successfully completed and ended with huge losses for the Ukrainian armed forces. In general, the territories of the Belgorod and Kursk regions are completely controlled“
He noted that all the enemy's equipment was destroyed.
The leader of "Akhmat" added that "blocking units of the Ukrainian armed forces are killing Ukrainian soldiers returning from captivity".
"The siege units kill them if they return home, that's what the prisoners we have, captured from different parts of the Ministry of Defense, say," he said.
Alaudinov noted to TASS that "everyone unanimously says that it is easier to die here than to return, because a cruel death awaits them there".
