The Russian armed forces have hit a Ukrainian Patriot air defense system in the Dnepropetrovsk region, the TASS news agency reported, citing a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry, News.bg reports.
According to official information, the attack was carried out with an Iskander missile, as a result of which two launchers were destroyed. The agency specifies that the strike was carried out in the area of the settlement of Ordzhonikidze. The AN/MPQ-65 multi-function radar, the combat control cabin and two launchers of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system were hit.
Meanwhile, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced on the Telegram social network that the Russian Air Force had repelled an attack by two drones aimed at the Russian capital. According to him, both drones were successfully neutralized before they could cause any damage.
