The Ukrainian capital was attacked by more than 10 drones tonight, the military administration of Kiev reported, quoted by Agence France-Presse and BTA, warning of the danger of a missile attack.

This is the second night of major attacks on the city, after Ukraine was attacked by about 250 drones and 14 ballistic missiles on Friday evening. Most of them were aimed at the capital.

"More than a dozen enemy drones are already in the airspace around the capital. More are approaching" said Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kiev military administration.

"The enemy will probably use a large number of drones and missiles launched from strategic aircraft," he added, on Telegram.

Debris fell on a five-story apartment building in the Golosovsky district, Tkachenko added.

Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported "explosions in the city". "Air defense forces are in action. "The capital is under attack by enemy drones," he warned on Telegram, urging residents to head to bomb shelters.

These attacks are taking place against the backdrop of the exchange of prisoners of war, which is expected to continue today, AFP notes.

The city of Odessa and the region have been attacked by drones, explosions have echoed in the city, Mayor Gennady Trukhanov announced on the Telegram app, BTA reported.

About 10 drones are massively attacking the Ukrainian Black Sea city from the Black Sea. and the seaside towns of Yuzhnoye and Chernomorsk, local channels indicate.

The air raid alert was announced at 01.16.

Local authorities reported a high level of danger throughout the city, urging all residents to take shelter in bomb shelters until the alert is lifted.

As of today, 90% of the city of Kupyansk has already been destroyed or damaged," said the head of the military administration of the city of Kupyansk, Andriy Besedin, on the "Mi - Ukraine" channel, quoted by FOCUS.

He described the situation in the city as critical, as "the enemy is destroying the municipality every day, dropping an incredible amount of guided bombs, artillery and shelling with multiple rocket systems".

"The optical FPV drones that they use in the central parts in settlements, pose a threat to ordinary residents who remain in Kupyansk, and even more so to the people who provide for the livelihood of our communities," he said.

According to him, on May 23, two utility workers were killed in Russian shelling.

They are giving their lives, just like the boys and girls at the front, to keep Kupyansk alive, unyielding and invincible. But with each passing day, this is becoming more and more difficult, and unfortunately, as of today, 90% of the city has already been destroyed or damaged," Besedin said.

According to him, despite the critical amount of shelling and destruction, 2,700 people still live in the Kupyansk municipality.

"As of today, 2,700 civilians remain in the community, 1,700 - directly in Kupyansk, and every day they put their lives in danger. "We understand how difficult it is to leave your home, but no one can compensate for their life and health," he said, urging people to move to safer places.
