An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.5 on the Richter scale shook Atacama, Chile, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) reports, FOCUS reported.
The earthquake was registered 83 km northwest of Copiapo, Chile, 51 km west of Diego de Almagro, at a depth of 60 km.
The earthquake was registered around 17:15 local time (20:15 Bulgarian time).
