The Iranian armed forces have launched a new wave of ballistic missiles at Israeli territory, Fars news agency reported.
Tel Aviv and Haifa are targeted, the Iranian IRNA news agency reported. It is noted that a missile hit a target in Haifa.
The agency's statement stated that the launch was carried out by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
A weapons manufacturing plant of the Israeli company Rafael was hit, the Iranian Tasnim news agency reported, citing Israeli sources.
No further information was provided on the extent of the damage or the location of the plant.
A spokesman for the Iranian Armed Forces called on Israelis to leave areas near critical infrastructure.
"Critical and important facilities will be targeted, including military and security centers, decision-making centers and commanders' headquarters," he said on Iranian state television.
„Iran has full information about the location of Israel's critical infrastructure“, the spokesman warned.
The Israeli authorities have extended the special instructions of the Home Front Command until 20:00 Bulgarian time on June 17, the press service of the Israel Defense Forces announced.
All public events in the country have been canceled, beaches, offices and educational institutions have been closed.
