Vance: Trump won't tell anyone when or what he'll do with Iran

US President thinks Beijing won't help Tehran trade blows with Israel

US President Donald Trump will try to resolve the conflict with Tehran through diplomacy until the very end, but ultimately he will do whatever it takes to destroy Iran's nuclear program, US Vice President J. D. Vance said.

„He said he would stick to diplomacy as long as he can. And once he decides that diplomacy has completely exhausted itself, that further negotiations are not going to get us anywhere, I think the president will do whatever it takes to end uranium enrichment and terminate Iran's nuclear program. The president will make the final decision. "I think time is running out, but as the president said, he wants to wait a little longer and see what diplomacy he can do," Vance said in an interview with Fox News.

The vice president added that Trump "is not going to tell anyone what he's going to do or when" on Iran. "He's going to figure out when diplomacy is exhausted and when he has to use the U.S. military to ensure that Iran doesn't have a nuclear program," he said. Vance also said that the absence of nuclear weapons in Iran is on the list of US national interests.

US President Donald Trump expressed confidence that Beijing would not help Tehran in the exchange of blows between Iran and Israel.

“I can't imagine them interfering“, the American leader told journalists in the state of New Jersey.

Commenting on reports that China had sent several planes to Iran, Trump noted: “They say it's to evacuate people. But I can't tell you anything about that. I get along very well with China. I get along very well with President Xi Jinping“, the American leader emphasized. “We have a very good relationship. We'll see what happens,” he added.
