The Chairman of the Federation Council's Committee on Constitutional Legislation Andrei Klishas stated after the US strikes against Iran that in such a world it is possible to survive only by strengthening the country's armed forces and nuclear potential.
"We expect the opinion of Western experts that the American "peace" is in accordance with international law and the interests of human civilization. The only way to survive in such a world is to strengthen the sovereignty of our country, the armed forces and the nuclear potential," Klishas wrote on his Telegram channel.
The MP emphasized that the US has struck Iran and is demanding Tehran's surrender, declaring the onset of "time for peace".
"Peace according to American rules means their right to strike whenever and wherever they want, without the consent of the UN Security Council, without declaring war," Klishas said.
